This is what happens when you're obsessed with bmx media and ephemera for 25 years

I'm a realtor, writer, dad, and lifelong rider living in Portland, Oregon, and for 25 years I've been collecting bmx media and ephemera. These magazines, zines, stickers, catalogs, DVDs, VHS tapes, shirts, postcards, and assorted randomness have been my prized possessions, but I'm ready to see it all go. There's now a vibrant midschool collecting community who appreciates this stuff as much as I do, and it's exciting to know that it will give joy to others and become part of the world's permanent historic archive.

It's going to take some time getting everything online, so check back often. If there's something specific you're looking for, feel free to email me. I also vlog about my favorite items on Instagram (@mykidsaretheshit) and YouTube (The Midschool Mirror). I might do a newsletter, so sign up below if that is of interest to you. I won't sell your info or spam you with irrelevant crap.

More about me:

I used to write about bikes here. My brother Ben and I made a 13-minute streetriding mixtape back in 2007, which you can watch online here. I'm the guy doing all the crashing. At some point I'll post some original copies of the DVD for sale. Ben and I also photographed 3,000 Old Parked Cars a few years ago. Follow @oldparkedcars if you're into it. I documented the three-year renovation of our first house here. My ex-wife and I now run Raccoon Realty Group.
